  Lovely meal with friends on a Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime - freshly cooked food which tasted devine. Even the fishfinger sandwich was "well worth the wait"! Great food at reasonable prices, lovely decor, helpful staff. We liked the fact that it is a pub with bar stools etc and also a restaurant, so you can come here for a drink or food or both and not feel out of place. Some pubs are so focused on food that they make you feel a little awkward if you just want drinks, but we didn't get that feeling here. Will be back again soon!

  Home cooked food. Best meal i have out had for a long time I would definitely recommend this place .First class service and very extensive menu. I told them I was gluten free and the staff were so accommodating.

  Generous portions.. reasonably priced and staff are friendly and accommodating. Feels a bit like a community centre with good selection of drinks. I would have to come here again to give it 5 stars but I have given it 4 stars so will visit again. I don't give 4 stars very often and even less a 5... Great first visit.

  What a fantastic pub! Their double bacon cheeseburger is gigantic! Very generous portions of great tasting food, and really nice spaces in which to eat and enjoy - there's a bar style area, restaurant style seating and also outdoor picnic tables. There's parking out front too. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and we'll be heading back whenever we're in the area!
